Pegara is a specialist protective coatings and weatherproofing contractor focused on protecting assets, structures, and critical surfaces while extending operational life cycles. At our core, we exist to reduce premature failure, limit long-term maintenance risk, and deliver durable, compliant solutions across a wide range of industries and asset types.

We invest heavily in training and standard operating procedures, ensuring our teams are competent, safety-driven, and capable of executing consistently under real-world conditions. Our staff are trained to understand not only how to apply systems, but why they perform — allowing us to anticipate failure points and mitigate risk before it occurs.
Pegara operates from a 1,900 m² dedicated yard with a 730 m² facility in Wynberg, Sandton, which serves as our headquarters and training hub.
From here, we regularly conduct structured training programmes and pre-plan all projects in detail, preparing our teams for site-specific challenges and ensuring controlled execution on every project.
Our technical framework is aligned with ISO 12944 protective coating standards, supported by ongoing training through AMPP accreditations. We work closely with leading material suppliers across our divisions to ensure correct system selection, specification compliance, and long-term performance.
Our operations are led by a civil-engineering-qualified head of operations, supported by experienced site teams, AMPP-certified basic coating inspectors, and a dedicated training facility that continuously sharpens our internal capabilities. This structure allows us to deliver projects of any scale on time, within budget, and to a consistently high standard.
